I had a pretty pants start to my week so was really looking forward to writing this post as it would give me time to focus on the happy things that have happened this week instead of continually reflecting on the negative stuff.
I can’t believe how quickly our holiday has come around. It seems like only yesterday we were panicking over not getting our passports in time and now they are here, our suitcases are packed, the dog has gone to his holiday home and tomorrow we will be setting off! That’s my main reason to be cheerful as I am so looking forward to this break, it will be a great time for us to be together as a family away from the everyday hustle and bustle and I just can’t wait!!
Lots of Loving
This week Eli came up to me, completely unprompted, gave me a hug and said “love you Mummy” – I nearly cried! He isn’t the most tactile of children and never wanted to be settled with a cuddle when he was upset but just recently he has been much more forthcoming with kisses and cuddles which is just the best feeling!
I’ve also got some rather exciting news which I hope I can share after we get back from holiday. Sorry to leave you all hanging for two weeks but the details haven’t been finalised yet so I can’t officially reveal anything!
I hope you’ve all had a great week and I will catch up with #R2BC when I’m back from my holiday.
What has made you smile this week? Why not hop over to Mummy from the Heart and let us know!
