The Gallery: Up Close and Personal
This week’s theme for the Gallery is ‘Up Close and Personal’ and when I first decided on my two subjects I don’t think I had quite appreciated how difficult it would be to make them sit still!
Well, one of my subjects anyway. Meg was quite happy to pose once she saw what I was doing and although I had to stop and show her every photo I took, to exclamations of ‘are my eyes really that blue?!’ she was very compliant in the end.
I have no idea whether photography-wise this is a good photo, but I love it, especially the way half her face is in shadow.
My other subject was in no way as helpful as his sister. I took twice as many photos and the majority of those were blurry. There is just too much to see and do to bother sitting still apparently so this ended up just being a hastily grabbed, straightforward shot.
But there you go, my two favourite little people in all the world. Up close and personal.

Beautiful little people! Meg's eyes are incredibly blue and I love that you can just see a single stray hair across her eyebrow.

This was my take on the prompt to. I love looking into someone's eyes. You can tell so much about a person. Gorgeous eyes x
