Gift Guide: What to buy for the man in your life…
Having just celebrated James’ 29th birthday I know how difficult it can be to come up with a unique idea for birthday presents. James falls into the category of man who says he ‘doesn’t mind’ even though you know that actually, he does a bit. He’s also the kind of guy who will just go out and buy the things he wants when he wants them which makes the decision a whole lot harder!
A course in something he wants to learn
A couple of years ago I bought James a cookery course for Christmas. He went off to some remote country house and learned how to make some amazing dishes. It was a double win as he got to learn something he had been wanting to for a while and now he thinks of himself as the chef of the house and loves any excuse to get in the kitchen and get creative. Bonus! Other course ideas could be dancing (I personally would love to try out ballroom, which is a partnered dance of course), learning to play a musical instrument or maybe learning a new language. You never known, discovering a new skill could help make the man in your life happier and more confident.
Something you can share together
Giving him something you can share is a great way to further your relationship and feel closer to each other. Find a fantastic activity you can do together – anything from a holiday abroad to an evening course.
