The Ideal Home Show at Christmas

Jess McGlynnNovember 7, 2015

I feel like I am okay to post this…seeing as Christmas is next month!!  Anyone who has read this blog before around the festive season will know that I am a huge fan.  I love everything from the excuses to snuggle under warm blankets with hot chocolate to overdecorating the house with trinkets and sparkly bits and of course the planning and wrapping and giving of presents to loved ones as well.

Last year we were invited along to the Ideal Home Show in Manchester and really enjoyed ourselves so I was suitably delighted ecstatic to receive an invitation to this year’s Ideal Home Show at Christmas.  I was ECSTATIC.  I think I even mentioned in my post in 2014 how much I would love to attend the Christmas one so literally I squeaked out loud when the invite landed in my inbox and I have made James take a day off to come with me so as you can imagine I am pretty darn excited about the whole thing.

The Ideal Home Show at Christmas is taking place at EventCity in Manchester from the 12th-15th November and will feature a whole host of exhibitors (around 300) who will be showcasing everything you could possibly think of for the festive season ahead.  So that’s interior items, food and drink, gifts, fashion and even the latest little gadgets.  If that wasn’t enough there will be celebrity appearances from the likes of Gino D’Acampo, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and even the stunning Katie Piper.

Sponsored by highlights will include the Christmas Theatre where a range of talks will be held on how to create a magical Christmas (sign me up for that one!), a Food & Drink Theatre and even a Champagne Bar (scratch the Christmas Theatre…this is where I will be!)

You can buy tickets here and don’t worry, I will be sharing lots and lots of photos from our visit on Thursday so if you need any further convincing then keep an eye out for those on my Instagram account.

Or maybe I’ll see you there.  I’ll be in the tartan section.  Obviously.
